By using algorithms and sensors, they can accurately monitor crops and fruit throughout the entire greenhouse and adjust the crop strategy where necessary.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\u201cWe noticed immediately when we started with blackberries that winter production was quite challenging,\u201d says Wouter van den Bosch. \u201cAs an extension of the research we are conducting, we are looking very closely at data.\u201d <\/p>\n\n

Sensors are installed in the greenhouse to provide data. The data obtained helps, on one hand, to better understand which strategy to deploy and when, so that the plant can produce better and more; on the other hand, this strategy can be executed automatically by the greenhouse systems based on algorithms. <\/p>\n\n
