The Greenhouse Horticulture Knowledge Event: “The challenges for the next 15 years”
On October 5, 2021, the Delphy Improvement Centre and Wageningen University & Research, Greenhouse Horticulture business unit, organized a knowledge event focused on the challenges facing greenhouse horticulture over the next 15 years. Over the past 15 years, they have jointly initiated research and implemented innovations at Violierenweg, thereby contributing to sustainable and profitable greenhouse horticulture.
With this knowledge day, they wanted to reflect on 15 years of research, but above all to look forward and address the challenges of the next 15 years. In various workshops, they shared the latest developments in the fields of LED lighting, digitalization, CO2 dosing, and crop health with a view to their application in cultivation.
We (Wouter van den Bosch) were honored to conclude this day. During this closing session, we looked ahead at the industry together with Stefan Hendriks (Plant Company).
